Glamour Shoot

I cannot believe that she is going to be 18.  I have had the best time with this gal.  I don't know if it was because I was so much older when she was born, but I have literally savored every little thing she has done. I was so shocked when the Lord blessed me with her, I thought my family was complete. The Lord had other plans, and I am so thankful. 

I wanted to do a glamour session, and use my new lights.  I had a volunteer for this right off the bat.  How could I tell this pretty gal no.  So of course she was my model.  She is so beautiful on the inside as well as the outside.  

Sweet Baby Jackson.

This is my 1st grandbaby.  He is now 3 months old and he makes my heart skip a beat everytime I see his sweet little face.  I know people probably get tired of hearing about him but someday they will have a grandbaby and see what it is all about.  My daughter his mommy is the best little momma I have seen with a baby.  I am one lucky Nonnie to have such a precious grandbaby, and he has such a wonderful mom and dad in his life.  Just thought I would share my pride and joy.

I have been taking this little guys photos since he was an infant. He is such a cutie. The dog in the picture is actually the neighbors dog (Chaps) he shows up randomly while taking photos. This little guy is a dog lover and just starting laughing and acting as though Chaps was his own.

My niece at her piano recital. She has played for 5 plus years and I am so proud of her.  When she plays the piano it makes me smile....

I AM PARTICIPATING IN THE OLIVIA ACT

I will be participating in The Olivia Act.

The Olivia Act is named after one of the children killed in Newtown. Olivia’s family had family pictures taken a short time before she was killed on that horrible day. Upon hearing about this, a ...photographer was moved to give away a family photo shoot and has challenged other photographers to do the same. I know that not all families have the resources to have photos taken and I'd love 2013 to be the year for one of them.

I will be taking nominations for a family who you think would appreciate this timeless gift. The session will take place sometime after the new year into Spring. Email me your nominations at kimscapturedmemories@gmail.com or send them to me in a message including a brief message on who you're nominating and the reason you think they would love this. The family chosen will be contacted via phone call, so please include their phone number as well! Please email me by December 31. Please SHARE this status so your friends and family will know too! Burns Family Photos with their Horse Montana

This family has rodeoed with us for years.  I received the call about coming and taking pictures after Montana (their daughter Nicole's horse) was diagnosed with cancer.  This has been her rodeo horse for years.  This touched my heart because my youngest daughter has grown up with her rodeo horse, and I know what it will be like one day when Rosie will be ready to leave us.  Thank you Erica for asking me to be a part of this photo session.  My heart goes out to you and your family. 

Mike & Sue Engagement 2012

Some of my dearest friends are going to tie the knot.  They have been together 23 years, and have now decided to get married.  They live on a farm and raise horses.  We met about 10 years ago, and have been close ever since.  I cannot tell you what an awesome couple they are.  Mike is a Texan boy, move her in the 80's and Sue was born and raised in Missouri. Their animals are their babies.  Houston is their newest addition to the family he is a Border Collie, and is the friendliest dog I have met.  Houston would not cooperate for the photos, he was too busy.  Congratulations to my friends, I love you two so much.  Hope you have alot of wonderful years together.
